Role: Business Development Manager
Reports to: Business Development Director
Location: Northwest, Salford office
Salary: £35k - £40k DOE (plus bonus/incentive package to be agreed)
Working Hours: 40 Hours Per Week. Hybrid working, 3 days on site.
My client is a leading IT Business Managed Services Partner (MSP) with almost 20 years of proven experience in mitigating cost, complexity, and risk for our customers.
This role is for an experienced Business Development Manager who possesses a strong drive for results. Duties will include:
- Generating new leads and opportunities
- Maintaining ongoing customer relationships and networking
- Implementing success programs
- Contributing to company sales targets
- Onboarding and training clients
- Minimising churn
You should also be able to:
- Provide insights on client-to-business interactions
- Improve customer experience through product support
- Handle customer complaints and requests
Successful candidates must be social, analytical, possess an aptitude for learning and using new software, and be able to communicate clearly and effectively. The ideal candidate should engage with customers, maximise value, and create strategies to grow our customer base.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying new business opportunities, potential clients, and strategic partnerships to expand our customer base and drive revenue growth
- Developing and executing effective sales strategies and tactics to meet business objectives and sales targets
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and fostering repeat business
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to drive business development initiatives and ensure seamless execution
- Staying updated with industry developments and market trends to identify new growth opportunities and maintain a competitive edge
- Managing and growing customer accounts
- Development of focused account plans
