Role: Business Development Manager
Reports to: Business Development Director
Location: Northwest, Salford office
Salary: £35k - £40k DOE (plus bonus/incentive package to be agreed)
Working Hours: 40 Hours Per Week. Hybrid working, 3 days on site.
My client is a leading IT Business Managed Services Partner (MSP) with almost 20 years of proven experience in mitigating cost, complexity, and risk for our customers.
This role is for an experienced Business Development Manager who possesses a strong drive for results. Duties for the Business Development Manager will include a broad range of tasks such as:
- Generating new leads and opportunities
- Maintaining ongoing customer relationships and networking
- Implementing success programs
- Contributing to company sales targets
- Onboarding and training clients
- Minimising churn
You should also be able to provide insights on client-to-business interactions, improve customer experience through product support, and handle customer complaints and requests. Successful candidates must be social, analytical, possess an aptitude for learning and using new software, and be able to communicate clearly and effectively. The ideal Business Development Manager should engage with customers, maximise value, and create strategies to grow our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new business opportunities, potential clients, and strategic partnerships to expand our customer base and drive revenue growth.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies and tactics to meet business objectives and sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to drive business development initiatives and ensure seamless execution.
- Stay updated with industry developments and market trends to identify new growth opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Manage and grow customer accounts.
- Development of focused account plans.
- Analyse customer data to improve customer experience.
