We are seeking an experienced and motivated
Interactive Response Technology (IRT) Project Manager to join our growing team.
This role is responsible for leading the successful delivery of IRT projects for clinical trials, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and clinical teams, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to manage project scope, timelines, risks, and financial performance while maintaining exceptional client relationships from study initiation through to closeout.
What You Will Be Doing
Take full ownership and accountability for the successful delivery of assigned IRT projects from initiation through closeout.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet agreed quality standards.
Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, Clinical teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Act as the primary contact, providing proactive communication and expert project guidance.
- Work independently to high levels of utilization while effectively managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
- Monitor project financials, including revenue, forecasting, change orders and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with GCP, regulatory requirements, company SOPs, and quality management processes.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and tools.
- Provide accurate project status reporting to clients and internal leadership.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Project Management, Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience managing Interactive Response Technology (IRT) projects within the clinical research, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industry.
- Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, ICH-GCP, and applicable regulatory requirements governing IRT systems.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional, matrix teams and successfully manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent project planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk management, issue resolution, change control, and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
