We are currently seeking a (Country Focused) UK Clinical Study Manager to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Senior Local Trial Manager at ICON, you will be responsible for reporting to the country head, ensuring successful execution and delivery of project objectives.
Main Tasks of the Local Trial Manager role:
- Developing and executing Oncology clinical trial project plans, focusing on achieving the trial goals and objectives.
- Leading cross-functional teams at a local level to ensure the successful implementation of trial activities.
- Reviewing monitoring visit reports.
- Overseeing clinical operations teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Driving the development of trial documentation and reports to present findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
Your Profile:
- A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in the sciences.
- Extensive experience in commercial clinical trial management roles (preferably with a previous monitoring background), with a proven track record of leading successful trials in a local capacity in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Strong proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent prioritizing skillset, with the ability to develop effective strategies to manage a variety of tasks and work alongside multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in managing and mentoring teams effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
