Overall Job Summary: The Imaging Training Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering internally approved documentation within the contracted timeframes for each study. This documentation includes training presentations, site questionnaires, participant scanning guides, acquisition guides, data transmittal forms, and any additional study required documents. This position interfaces with the project manager and the medical team to ensure imaging protocol requirements and customer preferences are incorporated into the documentation. The Imaging Training Specialist will be responsible for developing automated or remote training presentations and delivering the remote training (via web conferencing software) to the individual or bundled sites within the study. The Imaging Training Specialist may also travel to train imaging sites or study team members on the imaging protocol. The Imaging Training Specialist will also provide ad hoc support to sites via email, teleconferences or phone calls.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Developing study documentation and/or providing technical expertise in the creation of the study documentation, as needed.
- Providing technical support to sites during the entire study period, as needed.
- Developing and delivering follow-up training to improve site performance.
- Developing and delivering automated, voice-over training presentations.
- Developing and delivering remote training presentations.
- Delivering on site training, when required.
- Maintaining accurate onsite and remote training records.
- Working closely with Medical & Scientific Affairs to develop customized imaging protocols.
- Assisting with cardiac documentation & training, if needed.
- Domestic and International Travel required up to 50% of the time.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Radiologic Technology (e.g. CT, MRI, cMRI), or equivalent experience in Medical Imaging.
- One to two years in a clinical research environment preferred.
- Experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably within the healthcare or clinical research industry.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse learners.
- Proficiency in instructional design methodologies and learning technologies, with experience in e-learning development tools being a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring effective training delivery and documentation.
- A commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in all training initiatives.
