Senior Paraplanner 📍 Blackburn 🏢 Office-Based | Hybrid Working Considered 💼 Full-Time | Permanent We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected, client-focused wealth management firm seeking an experienced Senior Paraplanner to join their growing team in Blackburn.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established paraplanner looking to play a key role in supporting financial advisers, producing high-quality technical reports, and contributing to the continued success of a professional and collaborative business.
Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed suitability reports across pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning.
Undertake technical research and product analysis to support financial advisers.
Assist with complex financial planning cases and cashflow modelling.
Liaise with providers, platforms and third parties to obtain information and progress business.
Ensure all recommendations meet FCA regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards.
Support advisers throughout the advice process from recommendation through to implementation.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior members of the paraplanning team where appropriate.
About You Previous experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA or Wealth Management firm.
Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4) essential.
Working towards Chartered status would be advantageous.
Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, tax and protection planning.
Excellent report writing, analytical and communication skills.
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
