Overview
Transport Planner – Monday – Friday (40 hours per week). Competitive Salary.
Role Overview: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Transport Planner to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you’ll be essential in ensuring customer orders are delivered on time—both domestically and internationally—by managing logistics operations, documentation, and relationships with key transport partners.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with hauliers and 3PL warehouses to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of customer orders
 - Communicate order statuses and transportation plans with the Customer Care team
 - Arrange UK, European, and international shipments in line with approved carriers
 - Prepare accurate dispatch and export documentation according to business and customer requirements
 - Monitor and support key performance indicators such as OTIF, customer returns, and complaints
 - Request transport quotes and ensure competitive pricing
 - Raise haulier purchase orders accurately and resolve any related payment queries
 - Manage logistics-related complaints using Intelex, including investigation and customer responses
 
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar transport or logistics planning role
 - Familiarity with M3 ERP system is a plus (training will be provided)
 - Strong interpersonal and communication skills
 - High attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical abilities
 - Ability to adapt and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
