Irby and Neston Veterinary Surgeries are first opinion small animal practices located in Wirral and Cheshire West, dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care to our patients and clients.
We\βre currently seeking a well-rounded Senior Small Animal Vet to join our friendly and supportive team of 4 vets, nurses, PCAs, receptionists, and our Practice Director.
Both of our RCVS-accredited practices are well-equipped with flexible and video endoscopy, ultrasonography, digital radiography, dedicated theatres, and separate cat and dog wards providing an excellent environment for delivering top-quality care.
As a Senior Small Animal Vet at our practices, you\βll hold 15-minute consultations, with the option to extend for more complex cases, and we actively encourage CPD, certificates, and career progression.
Role Details
Contract Type: 12-month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)
Start Date: Ideally 4th August, but we\βre happy to be flexible for the right candidate
Working Hours:
- 29.75 hours per week
- Spread across 3 or 4 days
- Includes 1 in 4 Saturdays
Flexibility:

Both practices are close to the M53 and M56 motorways, with great fast links to Liverpool, Chester and North Wales. Neston is a lovely area on a peninsula, has strong sense of community, beautiful countryside, and nearby beaches.
