Irby Primary School is part of the Oak Trees Multi‑Academy Trust, which consists of thirteen schools on the Wirral Peninsula. Irby Primary School is a happy and successful one‑form entry school, with enthusiastic, highly motivated, friendly and happy children.
We require an enthusiastic, hard‑working, self‑motivated lunch time assistant to join our team in September 2026, working Monday to Friday 12 to 1:15 pm.
Responsibilities- Ensuring a positive lunchtime experience for all.
- Organising games and activities.
- Promoting positive relationships.
- Supporting good behaviour and effectively managing incidents.
- First Aid support, including inputting data into our electronic system; a one‑day First Aid course will be required once in post and is funded by the school.
The successful candidate will be one who relates well to children and staff, and who is committed to making lunchtimes a safe, enjoyable experience for our children. This post requires an enhanced DBS disclosure.
