We are hiring an Optometry Territory Manager to grow a high‑performing portfolio across the South West, partnering with optometrists to improve patient outcomes while delivering sustainable commercial growth.
The role
This is a field‑based role with genuine autonomy. You will take full responsibility for your territory, driving sales excellence across a market‑leading optometry portfolio with a strong focus on dry eye, eyelid hygiene and eye nutrition. You will act as a trusted, clinically credible partner to customers, using insight, data and relationship‑led selling to grow accounts and unlock new opportunities.
What you will be doing
- Growing and managing optometry business across the South West
- Delivering sales performance against clear targets
- Building strong, long‑term relationships with optometrists and key stakeholders
- Creating targeted account plans that deliver shared value
- Leading confident, impactful clinical conversations
- Using CRM and data to plan, prioritise and track performance
- Working closely with sales leadership and marketing to execute strategy
About you
Essential
- Proven success in a field‑based sales or territory management role
- Strong clinical curiosity and confidence presenting clinical data
- Strategic, solutions‑focused account management approach
- Ability to analyse data and turn insight into action
- Highly organised, self‑motivated and accountable
- Comfortable working independently while contributing to a team
Desirable
- Degree‑level education or equivalent
- ABPI qualification
- Experience in optometry, eye health or pharmaceuticals
