Nurse Advisor position to cover Southampton hospital delivering infusions within the hospital environment. Providing support to health care professionals and patients in the delivery of treatment of a specific medication in the form of an intravenous infusion given to patients in the hospital clinic setting.
As a Nurse Advisor, you require:
- To be clinically competent in cannulation and delivery of intravenous infusions
- Understanding and general knowledge of health service
- Ability to manage own workload with minimal guidance and desire to deliver results
- Ability to monitor and plan to meet programme objectives
- Ability to consistently maintain maximum standards in the use of IT systems
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients
- Flexibility regarding geographic coverage
- Frequent domestic travel
Education & Experience:
- Registered Adult Nurse with post registration
- Recent and current cannulation experience is essential.
- Current or previous experience in delivering infusions
- Ideally neurology experience
