Specialist sales role will be responsible for leading, facilitating and supporting all Regulatory Insights activity for EMEA. Working closely with the country teams, this role will support the teams to develop new, and manage and expand, existing business within the region, support in large engagements, input into the planning and forecasting process as well as managing and developing opportunities.
Essential Functions
- Develop and execute a clear sales plan, aligned to country, to achieve the objectives for Regulatory Intelligence for EMEA
- Achieve growth & revenue targets
- Understand risks and opportunities to plan for achieving overall
- Support the countries with monthly forecasting and annual planning cycles
- Client Solution creation and alignment in region and globally
- Direct involvement in contract renewals and negotiations as required
- Managing the teams both directly and indirectly and leading performance management, development and learning discussions with direct reports
- Reporting on an ongoing basis on the above to Sales Director and for corporate reporting such as Functional Reviews
- As necessary, identifies and manages resources to develop proposals that position IQVIA capabilities & solutions to customers
- Gathers market and client intelligence and provides strategic feedback to Marketing, Consulting, Service, and Sales to strengthen or product offerings and capture additional business
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 5 years of strong sales and account management experience
- Demonstrable experience of sales growth & target achievement
- Strong examples of consultative sales approach solving client business issues
- Possesses knowledge of key marketplace issues for the pharmaceutical industry and related businesses
- Excellent presentation and writing skills
- Must have successful experience identifying and closing new business opportunities & be results driven
- Developing positive relationships at all levels of client management and within the IQVIA sales, consulting and marketing teams
