IQVIA is looking for a Senior Consultant with a specialism in Oncology to join the UK Commercial Services team. Experienced Business Insights professionals who can demonstrate a strong track record within Life Sciences Analytics and Insights functions and with in‑depth experience in Oncology are sought. This role involves designing and delivering data‑driven oncology insights, supporting business development activity, and developing new solutions and services to build lasting relationships across the industry.
As a Senior Consultant you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality commercial consulting and insights projects to IQVIA’s clients. The role includes project leadership and delivery, business development and sales support, project management, client support, and offering development, specifically covering IQVIA’s Oncology Dynamics portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Lead delivery of solutions focusing on IQVIA Oncology Dynamics, working closely with Sales Specialists, Key Account Managers and colleagues from other functional areas.
- Translate client requirements into meaningful deliverables and collaborate with analysts to produce analysis and client‑ready deliverables.
- Demonstrate credibility with scientific and medical teams as delivery and engagement may require interaction with teams outside commercial areas.
- Act as an author on posters/abstracts/papers, reviewing data for publication and ensuring client data is represented accurately.
- Own project management, delivery and ongoing service, balancing profitability with high client satisfaction and strong partnerships with key accounts.
- Work with the sales specialist to understand client briefs, develop fit‑for‑purpose approaches, and advise on feasibility and best approaches during scoping meetings.
- Develop and deliver high‑quality insight presentations and client training using Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI dashboards.
- Collaborate with colleagues in other functions to deliver solutions addressing cross‑functional client needs.
- Liaise with primary intelligence and consulting colleagues in other IQVIA country organisations to support multi‑country projects for UK clients.
- Comply with all relevant IQVIA policies, processes and procedures and maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability of all information.
- Raise IQVIA’s profile in the oncology space by attending industry conferences and events, submitting articles to industry publications, and attending client events.
- Support offering and process development.
- Coordinate project methodologies and sales plans globally and stay abreast of product updates and analytical capabilities.
- Minimum 2:1 honours degree.
- Previous business insights or commercial consulting experience in the Oncology sector.
- Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Able to support multiple complex projects simultaneously within a team environment, meeting tight deadlines.
- Experience in leading the design and delivery of data‑driven projects with ongoing client management.
- Ability to build credibility and influence external and internal stakeholders.
- Good team player with strong interpersonal skills for influencing and advising.
- Eligible to work in the UK/EU without sponsorship.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) to a strong business standard.
- Track record of business development and supporting client pitch presentations.
- Proven commercial awareness / acumen.
- MS PowerPoint and Excel literacy.
- Demonstrated determination and resilience.
- Passion for leading people and capability to coach and mentor less experienced team members.
