We are seeking an Operations Engineer to join our group of data-driven experts dedicated to supporting the Healthcare sector. We partner with internal Commercial and Development functions to drive the efficient creation of timely and high-quality information assets to our clients. We are subject matter experts applying specialist knowledge to provide insight into the utilisation of information assets and shaping future offerings through innovation.
Responsibilities
- Drive the strategic workflow activities, providing support and expertise in the production of IQVIA UK data.
- Support and drive UK based projects by implementing positive change to support business initiatives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the onboarding of new suppliers into the production environment, leading on project plans and collaborating across functions.
- Investigate challenges, analyse complex business problems and make recommendations to improve on procedures whilst applying best practices.
- Coordinate offshore teams to deliver high quality outputs on time.
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality that lead to improved customer satisfaction.
- Think creatively to generate solutions and improvements to current processes that deliver value to our clients.
What to expect
- Develop an expertise in relevant IQVIA UK data assets and processes.
- Coordinate with various external teams in case of any issues with data and arrive at quick resolutions.
- Support all Production functions where need arises to ensure delivery to clients on time.
- Act as escalation point between offshore teams and internal commercial stakeholders regarding the status of supplier onboarding, data assets, changes and issues.
- Lead complex pieces of data analysis and operational processes to answer business questions.
- Support the wider organisation by providing pertinent information to allow investigation of data queries from internal and external clients.
- Coordinate with technical teams on enhancements or new projects to create user stories for business requirements using Jira, creating test plans and executing UAT.
- Contribute to team effort through communication, cooperation and coordination across IQVIA.
What weβre looking for
- Proven experience in relevant field.
- Highly numerate with an unconditional love for data, numbers, process and analytics.
- Project management experience or skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to handle multiple activities with changing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interpret and present complex concepts.
- Experience using a reporting tool, such as Power BI is a plus.
- Experience in collaborating across domains or geographies.
- Desired (but not essential) awareness of agile methodologies, big data and associated tools.
- Desired (but not essential) some Pharmaceutical industry knowledge.
- Desired (but not essential) experience creating scripts to automate processes and develop dashboards (e.g. Python, PowerShell, Power Automate).
