Work closely with the CM and EU Tender Department to create a devolved nations Access plan to ensure SBs portfolio are available for use in each country. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders: KOLs, Payers, Policy makers. Identify new business opportunities and proactively contribute to maximise value locally by submitting relevant business cases/tenders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and maintain the Portfolio Market Access Strategy Plan(s).
  • Development of innovative access tools for assigned products, optimising patient access to the company products.
  • Construct Market Access plans for products in the launch readiness phase.
  • Coordinate, negotiate and implement activities that directly impact the reimbursement status for assigned products in line with business plans/sales and marketing objectives of the company.
  • Develop and publish materials in conjunction with local KOLs to show economic value of assigned products within the country's healthcare setting.
  • Provide Marketing & Sales support through continuous interaction and training/education on Market Access related issues.
  • Identify market access opportunities, engage & persuade decision-makers, and coordinate the process to ensure that the company's products are included in the institution's formularies through tenders and/or framework agreements.
  • Build strategic partnerships with stakeholders (Government bodies, Payors, Pharmacists and Tender Authorities).
  • Understand the specific needs of payors and reimbursement-related stakeholders to identify mutually beneficial partnering opportunities.
  • Develop and implement innovative market access strategies to demonstrate the true value of the Samsung Bioepis product portfolio, including pricing, supply chain and negotiation strategies and tactics for reimbursement.
  • Engage relevant internal and external stakeholders (payors, TGT clinicians, key accounts) to secure broad patient opportunity-potential of current and new products/portfolio.
  • Conduct mapping exercises of KOLs, key prescribers of reference products, and key decision makers (policy, procurement, switch initiators) to accounts and to framework agreements/tenders.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the assigned healthcare landscape and engage with customers using the latest health economic tools and approaches.
  • Experience in pathway design and optimisation, putting the patient at the centre of the conversation and looking at innovative solutions from the patient's and payors/clinician's perspective.
  • Support CM with operational execution through the Country Access Plan to enable the company to achieve its overall P&L objectives.
  • Work closely with the EU Tender Dept to ensure the latest view on all opportunities is captured for accurate forecasting and to keep the EU Tender criteria & access database up to date.
  • Foster good relationships with payers, KOLs and ensure compliance with regulatory and the country's laws.
  • Work with the local BAM team to support local tender/direct hospital offers and access activities.
  • Participate in regular business reviews with risk and opportunities identification with CM and EU Tender Department.
  • Prepare for regular weekly and monthly meetings to show results, action items, and recommendations based on collected market/competitor intelligence & feedback from market stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain databases on market, stakeholders, competitors, new technologies and share information and data with the SBEU team within requested timelines and details.
  • Supervise market and competitor intelligence activities related to specific country and products.

Experiences

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in biopharmaceutical Access roles is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in life sciences.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent time management, organisation skills, and ability to prioritise multiple projects.
  • Strong verbal, writing skills in English and interpersonal skills are required.

Country Specific Requirements

  • Develop and maintain a deep knowledge of country specific (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland) Market Access Systems.
  • Develop and maintain existing relationships with key NHS stakeholders.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the 10-year NHS Plan.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the 10-year Life Sciences Sector Plan in the UK.
  • Develop experience of submitting tenders/business cases within the UK.
  • Understand and confirm clarity on the NHS Structure across the 4 devolved nations.
  • Develop a clear understanding of NHS priorities and provision on how best to align product portfolio offering.
