Overall Purpose of Job
The Tax Analyst role will add value to the business through EMEA tax reporting, compliance and transfer pricing work to enable greater process control, automation opportunities & efficiencies. The role will assist business tax advisory aspects of UK & EMEA legal entity acquisitions, integrations and project work. The role will further grow to provide tax support and advice for the UK and EMEA businesses in day-to-day operations.
Principal Accountabilities
- Assist the EMEA Senior Tax Director & EMEA Tax Analyst II with EMEA tax reporting, tax provisioning, cash tax management, UK tax compliance and related EMEA transfer pricing work.
- Assist business tax advisory aspects of UK & EMEA legal entity acquisitions, integrations and project work.
- Excel in the use of technology to maximize EMEA tax compliance function effectiveness and to improve data quality, automation and efficiency. Identifying technology and process led efficiencies for corporate tax compliance, reporting and operations.
- Provide tax support and advice for the UK & EMEA business including resolution of queries.
- Build a robust understanding of the business to enable further identification and implementation of tax automation & process opportunities.
- Actively establish internal and external relationships to facilitate work.
- Study towards the ACCA qualification.
