Phlebotomists are needed to cover Aberystwyth, Carmarthen, Pembrokeshire, Llanelli, and surrounding areas. The role requires 1+ years of experience in collecting and processing venous blood samples. Candidates may be a Healthcare Assistant or Nurse with phlebotomy skills.
As the face of IQVIA and our client, you will carry out scheduled visits, systematically collect and transport blood samples for testing, and maintain the highest professional standards β dress, conversation, privacy and safety. The role is based outside the hospital setting with the possibility of visiting multiple sites per session; therefore you should have your own reliable transport and a mobile phone.
Requirements:
- Phlebotomist, Health Care Assistant or Nurse with up-to-date phlebotomy skills
- Intermediate computer skills β comfortable with basic software programmes
- Own reliable transport
- Full UK driving licence
- Own mobile phone and internet access
- Ideally on the DBS update service, but not essential
- Based within reasonable travel distance to the job location
Pay includes a generous hourly rate and mileage reimbursement at the prevailing HMRC rate. Parking costs are also covered where required.
