The General Manager, Pharmareview will lead and grow IQVIA’s Pharmareview businesses within the region, driving strategic direction, operational excellence, and commercial performance. This role oversees multidisciplinary teams delivering high-impact scientific, medical, and evidence-generation solutions to global and regional clients. The GM will be responsible for shaping the Pharmareview strategy, expanding client partnerships, ensuring delivery excellence, and strengthening IQVIA’s position as a trusted leader in Medical Affairs transformation, scientific content solutions, and AI-enabled engagement.

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the Global Pharmareview and contribute to the wider Medical Affairs business strategy. Identify new market opportunities and shape innovative offerings aligned with client needs and industry trends.
  • Commercial & Client Leadership: Build and expand senior-level relationships with Medical Affairs, Clinical, and R&D leaders across Pharma; Lead commercial planning, forecasting, and pipeline development; Partner with global IQVIA teams to deliver integrated, cross-functional solutions.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee delivery of high-quality scientific and medical solutions across all project portfolios; Ensure operational efficiency, resource planning, and financial performance; Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and best-practice adoption across teams.
  • Team Leadership & Talent Development: Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing scientific, medical, and operational teams; Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation; Attract and retain top talent.
  • Innovation & Transformation: Champion the adoption of AI, advanced analytics, and digital engagement models; Promote evidence-based decision-making and data-driven Medical Affairs strategy; Ensure IQVIA remains at the forefront of life sciences transformation.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing large, cross-functional teams and driving high-performance culture.
  • Proven experience with full P&L ownership, including revenue growth, cost management, and profitability oversight.
  • Deep understanding of pharma and biotech functions, including MSL deployment, scientific exchange, evidence generation, branding, marketing, and drug product launch.
  • Ability to define and drive a long-term strategy for customer success in medical affairs, aligning with business growth and industry shifts.
  • Experience working with global clients and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with both internal teams and external stakeholders (e.g., KOLs, HCPs, pharma clients).
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset and ability to translate insights into action.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale customer success programs tailored to medical affairs clients.
