Business Transformation Lead

POSITION OVERVIEW Business Transformation Lead is a senior dual-mandate role within the Lead-2-Cash (L2C) Transformation Office, dedicated exclusively to the Catalyst CRM program — IQVIA's multi-year migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 and full Sales process modernization.

This individual serves simultaneously as the enterprise program overseer and the principal business analyst advisor for the Sales transformation, covering the end-to-end Selling and Deal Closure value chain.

Unlike a conventional program manager, this leader is expected to be deeply embedded in the strategic intent behind the CRM workstream — translating complex Sales business requirements into actionable roadmaps while holding end-to-end accountability for governance, delivery quality, and stakeholder alignment across Commercial Solutions (CS) and Research & Development Solutions (RDS).

The role demands an uncommon blend of executive gravitas, analytical rigor, and advisory credibility — operating at Director level with a hands-on BA orientation.

  • PROGRAM SCOPE
  • Platform Transformation: Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM migration — full platform cutover from legacy CRM, including data migration, integration design, and go-live stabilization.
  • Sales Process Modernization: End-to-end Sales process redesign — opportunity management, pipeline governance, forecasting, and deal desk workflows for CS and RDS business units.
  • AI Enablement: AI-driven solution enablement — functional design and business adoption of AI-powered CLM, Order Management, and Project Management capabilities within the CRM ecosystem.
  • PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Program Oversight & Governance
  • Own end-to-end accountability for the Catalyst CRM program — multi-year roadmap, milestone governance, dependency management, and benefits realization.
  • Establish and chair the CRM steering committee, architecture review forums, and cross-BU delivery governance touchpoints with CS and RDS leadership.
  • Manage program financials with full transparency to L2C leadership.
  • Coordinate across the CRM PM/BA team, Architect, Hexaware delivery resources, and the Transversal Team (Dev Ops, Architecture, Release Discipline).
  • Ensure operational readiness, transition-to-run planning, and post-go-live Sales platform stability across both business units.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for CRM program-level risks, issues, and stakeholder concerns — accountable for resolution and enterprise impact.
  • Strategic Business Analysis & Sales Advisory
  • Act as the senior BA authority for the CRM workstream — leading business requirements discovery, Sales process gap analysis, and future-state design with CS and RDS stakeholders.
  • Translate enterprise Sales strategy into actionable CRM program blueprints, advising the CRM Product Owner and Practice Leads on sequencing, trade-offs, and adoption risk.
  • Define and maintain KPI frameworks, success metrics, and a Benefits Realization Model that demonstrates measurable impact on Sales pipeline, deal velocity, and forecast accuracy.
  • Lead functional design sessions for AI-driven capabilities (CLM, intelligent order management, project orchestration) and shape the business architecture alongside the incoming CRM Architect.
  • Provide advisory to adjacent L2C Practice Leads (Pricing, Contracting, Delivery) on Sales-side decisions that create downstream dependencies in the L2C value chain.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Organizational Change
  • Serve as the primary point of trust between the L2C CRM program and senior Sales leaders across CS and RDS — ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, and business expectations.
  • Orchestrate cross-BU alignment sessions and executive briefings, translating program status into clear business impact narratives.
  • Lead change-management and adoption planning in partnership with the Training Lead — designing enablement strategies that drive durable Sales behavior change, not just system go-live.
  • Provide executive-level reporting, forward-looking insights, and strategic recommendations to the Head of L2C and senior EBT leadership.
  • Influence without direct authority across globally distributed teams including the CRM PM/BA team, offshore resources, and cross-functional EBT stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Strong experience spanning enterprise program management and business analysis
  • Demonstrated track record leading multi-year CRM transformation programs at enterprise scale — Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience strongly preferred.
  • Deep proficiency in Sales process analysis, requirements elicitation, and future-state design for commercial operations (Lead-to-Cash, opportunity management, forecasting, deal desk).
  • Experience managing program budgets exceeding $1M, including vendor POs, and headcount planning in a matrixed organization.
  • Proven ability to influence senior Sales leaders, BU executives, and cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Strong command of program governance frameworks — steering committee design, RAID management, milestone tracking, and benefits realization.
  • Fluency in English required;
  • Willingness to travel periodically for executive, BU, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Preferred
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales module, including integration design and data migration programs.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven capability design in a Sales/CRM context — CLM, intelligent pipeline management, or automated deal workflows.
  • Background in Healthcare or Life Sciences industry; understanding of IQVIA's CS and RDS commercial operating models.
  • Certifications: Pg MP, PMP, SAFe Program Consultant, or equivalent enterprise program credentials.

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS The Catalyst CRM program is the foundational pillar of IQVIA's commercial modernization — redefining how the Sales organization operates across CS and RDS through a next-generation Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform, redesigned Sales processes, and AI-enabled workflows.
