Essential Functions

  • Manages team of Account Leads to ensure consistency and build success across the business.
  • Supports Account Leads on organic growth within defined accounts.
  • Identifies best practices across the business and embeds widely.
  • Supports Account Leads on conflict resolution, acting swiftly to ensure a successful outcome.
  • Ensures timely activities such as time reporting, budget reconciliation from all teams.
  • Liaises with the Associate Business Operations & Capabilities Director and identifies better practice across the business.
  • Builds broad networks within IQVIA, helping on RFP development.
  • Works with the Strategic Customer Engagement Associate Director to build a pipeline of additional business.
  • Works with the Account Leads to validate client forecasts.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years’ experience within medical communications/healthcare/pharmaceuticals/Regulatory working currently as an account management or account director or equivalent.
  • Good problem‑solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results to the appropriate quality and timeline metrics.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Strong team leadership skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong software and computer skills, including MS Office applications.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.
  • Understanding of the ABPI, EFPIA, IPHA and PhRMA codes of conduct.
  • Experience working in Veeva Vault PromoMats/MedComms, Aprimo or similar review and approval systems.

Location: Spain, Portugal, UK. This role is not eligible for UK visa sponsorship.

Desirable skills or qualifications

  • Masters or PhD in life sciences or business related experience.
  • Signatory/AQP expertise.
  • Medical or Pharmacist qualification.
