Job Overview:
Assess EHS programs for prioritized risks aligned with corporate business objectives and standardizes implementation globally.
Act as Corporate EHS Leader when interfacing with OSHA or any other local/state/country agency on issues related to EHS.
Develop and implement strategy for IQVIA Laboratories Sustainability program.
Serve as Corporate EHS interface with IQVIA Laboratories\’ sites and legal in EHS compliance and liability-related discussions.
Ensure regulatory compliance and reporting with all domestic and international locations and corresponding agencies.
Streamline and strengthen IQVIA Laboratories EHS management to ensure world-class results by promoting sharing of knowledge and a focus on safety and environmental culture.
Work with Global Risk Management to prepare analytical reports which evaluate effectiveness of EHS programs and provide statistical data regarding incident rates, Workers Compensation costs, etc.
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive management systems in support of the IQVIA Laboratories corporate EHS Policy.
Lead a team of EHS professionals, located throughout the globe. Manage staff in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable regulations.
Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving challenges; approving and addressing people matters in collaboration with HR.
Requirements:
- Bachelor\’s Degree Technical or safety related field required.
- 7 – 10 years of relevant experience in a global multiple-site EHS role; experience in a corporate role is an asset
- Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001or other similar EHS management systems.
- Experience with and general understanding of biosafety practices and regulations.
- Thorough knowledge of sustainability expectations and programs with strategic mindset.
- Comfortable presenting and training in large and small groups (training/presentation, communication with site management).
- Certified Safety Professional and or Certified Industrial Hygienist, or equivalent certification.
