As a senior member of the DTAS (Data, technology and Advisory Services) team, you will work directly with life sciences clients as a trusted partner, helping them navigate complex strategic, technological, and operational challenges. Our team of experts drives innovation, offering development, business development and facilitates sharing of best practices and GTM materials for Health Economics (HE), Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and Value & Access (V&A) solutions.
Join our global HE/HTA/V&A specialist practice! We focus on creating global solutions that help clients design and execute evidence generation strategies, meeting payer and HTA requirements, and effectively communicating their product’s value story. You will be accountable for driving client satisfaction, identifying new opportunities, and achieving or exceeding assigned revenue targets.

As a Principal within the HE/HTA/V&A Practice, your main focus is to deliver outstanding client service, while building trusted relationships with existing and new clients that enhance our brand and reputation in the business. Success will be measured by your ability to work directly with clients to develop business opportunities and deliver projects at high levels of client satisfaction.
Accountabilities:- Act as principal owner of all client engagements, from initial conversations to understand client needs, followed by the development of the right solutions to address these needs and overseeing project delivery.
- Create and elevate new business opportunities through the identification of follow‑on work as well as new opportunities with existing and new client organisations.
- Present educational and go‑to‑market materials about the offerings internally and externally.
- Identify opportunities for selling our integrated solutions (projects including multiple offerings e.g. P&MA strategy, full HEOR/HTA support to prepare for P&R submissions, PRO instrument advice, RWE strategy).
- Engage closely with project teams in the design, development, and delivery of projects ensuring the full complement of IQVIA capabilities and solutions are utilised to address complex client issues.
- Establish a culture of excellence and ensure delivery of accurate and high‑quality work which meets or exceeds client expectations.
- Foster an environment of collaboration and inclusivity among project teams.
- Remain current on industry, clients, and competitive trends and directions in order to anticipate and identify new business challenges and issues with assigned clients.
- Lead thought leadership and firm building initiatives that contribute to raising IQVIA's industry profile, e.g., through speaking engagements, client meetings, and publications.
- Mentor, coach, and share subject matter expertise with others to elevate our capabilities to deliver world‑class solutions for clients.
- Lead ad hoc work streams on critical people‑related issues such as recruitment, training and development.
- Serve as a development lead to 3‑4 staff.
- Master's Degree.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in consulting, pharmaceutical, and healthcare industries with a focus on HTA or HEOR.
- Experience with AI/ML is a plus.
- Proven ability to build relationships, identify client pain points, and develop custom solutions targeted at HE/HTA stakeholders.
- A track record of driving HQ/global deals, aligned with suitable offerings development experience.
- An established network of contacts in the pharmaceutical industry and payers.
- A high degree of understanding of the processes underpinning payer evaluation and the factors and drivers impacting product development.
- Deep commercial awareness of the healthcare, health technology, and pharmaceutical industries, gained through experience.
- Demonstrated experience in market needs assessments and value proposition development.
- Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, tailoring messages to target audiences with the gravitas to build relationships and sell services.
- Maintains a constant focus on industry, client, and competitive trends in the life sciences industry, applying this knowledge to both active client engagements and business/client development activities.
