The Role
As Marketing Manager, you will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that drive sales growth and brand performance. You will manage the full marketing planning cycle, balancing creativity with data-driven decision making and budget accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver marketing strategies and brand plans aligned to commercial objectives and timelines
- Optimise marketing and sales budgets through insightful analysis and strategic recommendations
- Lead integrated campaigns across advertising, PR and trade marketing via agency partners
- Monitor campaign performance, evaluate ROI and refine activity to maximise impact
- Partner with Account Managers to build and execute effective trade marketing plans
- Report regularly to clients on brand performance, KPIs and growth opportunities
- Manage budgets with a strong focus on financial control, forecasting and cost efficiency
- Lead client review meetings, driving action-focused outcomes and continuous improvement
- Create compelling presentations and storytelling materials for clients, customers and internal teams
- Develop clear and effective briefs for agencies and evaluate proposals to ensure quality and value
- Collaborate with Logistics and clients to optimise stock levels and supply continuity
- Analyse market trends, product performance and consumer behaviour to identify growth opportunities and inform NPD
- Provide performance feedback on agency partners to maintain high standards of delivery
- Lead and develop direct reports, supporting career progression and capability building
About You
You are a strategic, commercially minded marketer who thrives in a dynamic FMCG environment. You are equally comfortable analysing data, influencing stakeholders and leading creative campaigns.
Experience
- Minimum 6 years’ marketing experience, ideally within FMCG or consumer packaged goods
- Experience in Health and Beauty, OTC, licensed medicines or other regulated sectors is advantageous
- Knowledge of grocery and or pharmacy channels is preferred
- Proven success in developing and delivering high-performing brand plans
Qualifications
- Degree in a business-related subject or CIM qualification
Skills and Expertise
- Strong understanding of P&L management, ROI analysis, promotional effectiveness and cost control
- Confident user of Excel and PowerPoint to support analysis and deliver engaging presentations
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Strong communication skills across written and verbal channels
- Highly organised, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and within a team
