Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced registered nurse to join the team in Sheffield or Barnsley area. In this fantastic role, you will be responsible for supporting multiple patient services and healthcare professionals across various clinical settings. This position offers a diverse range of tasks/responsibilities that keep each day fresh and exciting. You will be carrying out home visits to support patients with self-injections or venepuncture, as well as setting up infusions and running clinics. There may also be some working from home supporting patients support lines. You will manage your own caseload and travel around a given geography to see patients.

Requirements

  • Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Proficient in phlebotomy, cannulation and infusion therapies.
  • Training can be provided where required.
  • Recent and current venepuncture and cannulation experience would be an advantage.
  • Supplementary Prescriber (CPNP) qualification would be an advantage.
  • Spirometry experience and/or ARTP qualification would be advantageous.
  • Stoma Care experience and/or qualification would be advantageous.
  • Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Excellent communication skills across all formats, including face-to-face and virtual interactions.
  • A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel within the designated geographical area.
