About the Role
As a Junior Brand Manager, you will play an active role in supporting the planning, execution and performance of key healthcare brands. Working closely with senior marketers, sales teams and external agencies, you will help drive brand visibility, deliver trade marketing initiatives and ensure smooth coordination across multiple projects. This role is ideal for someone analytical, organised and enthusiastic about developing a career in consumer health, beauty or regulated markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Planning Support
- Assist senior team members in building and delivering brand and trade marketing plans.
- Contribute to category reviews and competitor analysis to identify trends, challenges and growth opportunities.
- Trade Marketing Execution
- Help coordinate trade marketing activities to ensure alignment with brand strategies.
- Support reporting on campaign performance and trade activation results.
- Project and Agency Coordination
- Assist in preparing briefs for creative, media, point of sale and packaging agencies.
- Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support
- Work closely with National Account Managers on trade marketing initiatives.
- Liaise with logistics and operations teams to support continuity of supply.
- Create and update customer presentations in partnership with sales teams.
- Provide marketing materials and brand updates for customer meetings.
- Reporting and Forecasting
- Assist with sales and profit forecasting.
- Prepare internal reports and client updates.
- Track marketing spend and support monthly budget reviews.
- General Responsibilities
- Carry out additional tasks that support brand performance and marketing delivery.
Desirable Experience
- Some experience in marketing, brand support or a related field, including internships or entry-level roles.
- Exposure to consumer packaged goods or retail environments is a plus.
- Interest in health and beauty, OTC healthcare or regulated industries.
Qualifications
- Marketing or business-related degree preferred but not essential.
- Working towards a recognised marketing qualification such as CIM is beneficial.
- Good general education including English and Maths.
Skills and Attributes
- A solid understanding of basic marketing principles and channels.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to analyse data and prepare simple reports.
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with colleagues, clients and agency partners.
