Provide scientific and technical leadership to guide biomarker strategies for pharmaceutical and emerging biotech customers supporting clinical development programs. Ensure alignment between customer requirements and internal laboratory capabilities by coordinating across technical, scientific, and commercial teams globally (Americas, Europe, APAC, and China). Drive early engagement between biomarker and clinical teams to inform assay selection, platforms, and study design. Lead scientific discussions during feasibility assessments and strategy development. Support bid defense meetings and capability presentations and provide scientific input for RFIs, RFPs, and client proposals. Support feasibility for assay transfer, validation, and technology integration. Maintain deep understanding of internal laboratory processes, workflows, and capabilities and ensure delivery of scientifically sound, client‑aligned solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) required (advanced degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or clinical research environments
- Demonstrated experience working with biomarkers in clinical trials
- Expertise in oncology biomarkers and their application in drug development
- Extensive experience in clinical trials environment.
