This role will support the UK launch of four biosimilars in competitive therapy areas, alongside growth of an established biosimilar in nephrology and haematology conditions (Rare Diseases). This is a field‑based role, ideally located in the North of England (Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle or surrounding areas), with regular UK travel as required.

Our client is a global biopharmaceutical organisation focused on expanding access to high‑quality biosimilar medicines, supporting improved patient outcomes and more sustainable healthcare systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead commercial activity across approximately 30–40 specialist rare disease centres
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with key hospital stakeholders, including clinicians, hospital managers and high‑cost drug pharmacists
  • Work in collaboration with cross‑functional teams to support informed decision‑making and appropriate prescribing
  • Support market access and uptake by positioning the organisation as a credible and reliable partner
  • Gather and share market insights, including competitor activity, treatment pathways and prescribing criteria
  • Deliver agreed sales objectives and contribute to market share growth
Skills and Experience
  • Current experience selling biosimilars into UK secondary care
  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in business, life sciences, health economics or a related field
  • Strong experience in nephrology, including exposure to rare diseases such as PNH or aHUS, or complement inhibitors
  • Experience within biosimilars or biologics is advantageous
  • Proven experience working with specialist stakeholders in secondary care environments (typically 3–5 years)
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Able to analyse information and adapt approach to different customer needs
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the UK
  • Full UK driving licence
