Provide scientific and technical leadership to guide biomarker strategies for pharmaceutical and emerging biotech customers supporting clinical development programs.
Responsibilities
- Ensure alignment between customer requirements and internal laboratory capabilities by coordinating across technical, scientific, and commercial teams globally (Americas, Europe, APAC, and China).
- Drive early engagement between biomarker and clinical teams to inform assay selection, platforms, and study design.
- Lead scientific discussions during feasibility assessments and strategy development.
- Support bid defense meetings and capability presentations and provide scientific input for RFIs, RFPs, and client proposals.
- Support feasibility for assay transfer, validation, and technology integration.
- Maintain deep understanding of internal laboratory processes, workflows, and capabilities and ensure delivery of scientifically sound, client-aligned solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) required (advanced degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or clinical research environments
- Demonstrated experience working with biomarkers in clinical trials
- Expertise in oncology biomarkers and their application in drug development
- Extensive experience in clinical trials environment.
