The Digital Products & Solutions (DP&S) business unit at IQVIA is a function-led organization comprised of Strategy, Product Management, Product Engineering, Delivery, and Commercialization of the products and solutions in the DP&S portfolio. The portfolio includes technology and services in Clinical, Patient, Safety, Regulatory, and Commercial offerings. DP&S Delivery engagements span single-country, single-solution to multi-country, complex integrated multi-solutions. We serve our external and internal customers through the alignment of project and services management personnel with a wide range of technical skills who develop, test, deploy, serve, and support the technology and/or technical services deployed.

Our delivery organization is accountable to deliver quality products and services that are vital to our customers’ adoption, retention and value of the technology and services. We do this through solution design, implementation, post-implementation, and technical advisory support and services engagements.

Role overview

The Integrated Delivery Owner (IDO) is part of DPS Delivery Integrated Solutions Practice, responsible for the successful delivery of large, complex and multi-offering programs, with a dedicated focus on cross-product requirements, technical design & architecture, testing and deployment. The IDO is responsible for the solution design and delivery of Integrated Solutions engagements. This role acts as the end to end solution architect and ultimate owner for the delivery of our integrated suite of applications across DP&S portfolio of products, in close collaboration with architects from the various products proposed for a given engagement. The Integrated Delivery Owner Patient Solutions is focused on the Patient offerings ecosystem, including (but not limited to): eCOA, Complete Consent, IRT, Study Hub, Connected Devices.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and own end to end (cross product) integrated solution requirements and design, and support the documentation of business requirements, for consumption by both business user community as well as technical resources designing, configuring and/or developing the system meeting the requirements.
  • Create and maintain the Integrated Project Plan ensuring work stream dependencies are managed and resources are properly allocated to the right work stream at the right time.
  • Review clients’ requirements for solution including mockups, prototypes, dashboard visualizations and templates.
  • Closely collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to come up with solution architecture options to meet the integrated requirements; you will own the decision on final architecture.
  • Work hand in hand with Engagement Program Manager to manage customer and stakeholders’ expectations, participating in engagement management cadence and steering committee.
  • Be the point of escalation within the integrated solution delivery for the assigned program for any timeline, quality, resourcing, and architectural decision and will interact with customer for any delivery and topics.
  • Support quality assurance team in designing test plan and test cases meeting the technical and business requirements.
  • Lead and own the development of technical operational documentation to be handed over as part of transition to ongoing operations from implementation phase.
  • Direct the work of integrated workstreams resources.

Required skills and experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience working in technology, managing or leading large, complex integrated programs.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience working in life sciences domain.
  • Proficiency in analyzing business requirements and creating architectures to meet business needs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, to interact with multiple layers of business and technical stakeholders, both internal to IQVIA and with customer.
  • Strong ability to lead architectural as well as integrated solution implementation plan related discussions in front of broad spectrum of individuals from the customer.
  • Knowledge of life sciences commercial, clinical and patient domains and how they work (integrate) together.
  • Experience working with industry leading platforms such as Salesforce, AWS, Azure, .Net.
  • Strong ability to multi-task, balancing work needed across workstreams and customer priorities.
