Launch your career in commercial events. Are you a recent graduate looking for a role where you can build commercial skills, speak with senior business leaders, and take real ownership from day one? As a Conference Producer within IQPC's R&D team, you'll help create high-level conferences and events for senior leaders across Innovation, AI and Technology.

This isn't a traditional graduate role where you spend your first year just supporting other people. You'll be trained to research markets, speak with industry leaders, identify emerging trends and turn your findings into commercially successful events. You don't need previous events experience. We're looking for graduates with curiosity, confidence, ambition and the drive to learn.

What you'll actually be doing:

  • Researching industries and markets to understand what Technology leaders are focused on, investing in and struggling with.
  • Speaking with senior executives to learn about their priorities, challenges, strategies and future plans.
  • Identifying emerging trends and commercial opportunities that could shape future events.
  • Building conference agendas around the topics that matter most to leaders.
  • Recruiting senior-level speakers by having credible, well-researched conversations with industry experts.
  • Developing relationships with senior decision-makers across leading companies.
  • Working closely with sales and marketing teams to build audiences and maximise event revenue.
  • Taking ownership of your conferences from initial research through to launch and delivery.
  • Hosting and representing your events alongside senior executives and industry leaders.
  • Continuously reviewing your events and using market feedback to improve their commercial performance.

Who this is for:

This is an ideal role for a high-potential graduate who wants responsibility, commercial exposure and fast progression. You'll thrive if you:

  • Are genuinely curious and enjoy learning how businesses and industries operate.
  • Are confident speaking to new people and building relationships.
  • Have strong communication skills and aren't afraid to pick up the phone.
  • Are commercially minded and motivated by achieving measurable results.
  • Are resilient and comfortable hearing no.
  • Enjoy having ownership and responsibility rather than being micromanaged.
  • Are ambitious and want your progression to be based on performance.
  • Can take information, spot opportunities and turn ideas into action.

What you'll get:

  • Competitive graduate salary + profit share linked to the commercial success of your events.
  • A structured training programme covering commercial research, executive engagement, event strategy and business development.
  • The opportunity to work directly with senior executives from leading global companies.
  • Fast career progression based on performance rather than simply time served.
  • International travel opportunities across Europe and the US.
  • Hybrid working from our Central London office.
  • A supportive, high-performance team environment.
  • The opportunity to build a career in commercial events, research, business development or sales.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, ideally 2:1 or above.
  • Recent graduate or graduating in 2026.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident personality with the ability to build relationships quickly.
  • Commercial curiosity and a genuine desire to learn.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable speaking with people at all levels.
  • No previous events experience required; full training provided.
