Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing strategies with bottom-line responsibility for every event you work on.
  • Work across channels to identify new prospects and increase brand awareness (email marketing, social media, SEO, PPC).
  • Lead in creating and managing long-term partnerships with associations, publications and influencers globally.
  • Proactively nurture prospects and past customers to increase revenue and deliver on targets.
  • Prepare enticing and informative copy from event launch to event end; test new communications and report on successes.
  • Establish close working relationships with key stakeholders including expert speakers and sponsors to gain their buy-in to promote events.
  • Review the impact of marketing campaigns and activities and use data to identify future opportunities or challenges.

Qualifications

  • 3-4+ years' marketing experience preferred, ideally gained within B2B publishing, conferences, events, exhibitions or a membership organisation.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing marketing campaigns including email marketing, social media, stakeholder engagement, media partners, data management and analysis.
  • An exceptional communicator and team player who can clearly connect ideas and outcomes whilst working effectively with a variety of departments and seniority levels.
  • Excellent copy writing across a variety of mediums that excites our community and encourages engagement with our events.
  • A data-driven and commercial mindset with experience in managing marketing budgets effectively and delivering ROI.
  • A creative problem-solver who will dig into the details before making decisions.
  • Ambition to not only meet but exceed lead and revenue targets, working with the team to achieve this.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines as well as the occasional curveball.
  • Ability to travel internationally when required.
