As an experienced content producer with a passion for writing, you will be responsible for planning, producing and optimising high-value digital content across a variety of media that addresses the challenges and priorities of our defence and automotive audiences. You will work across editorial content, research reports and digital events; creating commercially valuable products that engage our communities, generate qualified leads and support the growth of our live event portfolio.
- Producing engaging articles, whitepapers, research reports, interviews, webinars, virtual events and other digital content based on in-depth research and conversations with senior industry stakeholders
- Planning and delivering commercially viable digital content products that support audience growth, generate qualified leads and align with our in-person event portfolio
- Working closely with event producers, marketing managers and sales teams to ensure content aligns with editorial priorities, audience needs and commercial objectives
- Managing content schedules to ensure projects are delivered to a consistently high standard, on time and against agreed deadlines
- Monitoring content and campaign performance using audience engagement, lead generation and commercial metrics, applying insights to continuously improve future content
- Supporting marketing campaigns by creating compelling content assets that increase registrations, community engagement and brand awareness
- Building and maintaining relationships with industry influencers, speakers, sponsors and community members to source content, strengthen our market position and enhance brand credibility
- Representing our brands across channels such as LinkedIn and X, helping grow our online communities and positioning Defence iQ, IDGA and Automotive iQ as a trusted industry voice
3+ years' experience producing high-quality digital content, with the ability to turn complex topics into engaging and accessible articles, reports, interviews, digital events and other content formats
- Experience producing conferences, webinars, virtual events, research reports or other commercially focused digital content products
- A commercial mindset, with an understanding of how content contributes to audience growth, lead generation, event performance and revenue
- Confidence using LinkedIn, X and other digital platforms to build personal brand, grow audiences and increase overall brand visibility
- A strong understanding of SEO/GEO best practices and content optimisation
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience within defence, automotive, B2B publishing, conferences, events, exhibitions or membership organisations is desirable
