Our Customer Contact Week Europe (CCW Europe) portfolio focuses on customer experience (CX), contact centres, AI, and digital transformation—bringing together senior leaders through large-scale conferences and curated Exchange formats.

We are hiring a commercially driven Business Development Executive to join our London-based CCW Europe team. This role is focused on new business prospecting and pipeline generation across the portfolio. You’ll identify target clients, engage senior decision-makers, and secure qualified meetings for the Sponsorship Sales team. Reporting to the Divisional Sales Director, you’ll receive structured training and development while having the autonomy to drive your own activity and results. You’ll play a key role in supporting the growth of the portfolio. This is an excellent entry point into high-value B2B sales, with a clear progression path into a Sponsorship Sales role.

Responsibilities

  • New Business Prospecting & Lead Generation
    • Identify and research target companies across CX, AI, SaaS, BPO, CDP and consulting sectors
    • Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn
    • Generate and qualify leads for the sales team
  • Appointment Setting
    • Book high-quality meetings between prospects and Sponsorship Sales Managers
    • Clearly communicate the value of CCW Europe events
    • Maintain a consistent pipeline of meetings
  • Market Research & Targeting
    • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and key players
    • Build and manage targeted prospect lists aligned to event strategy
    • Accurately track outreach, leads, and meetings in CRM systems
    • Maintain high-quality data and report on activity metrics
    • Work closely with the sales team on target accounts and conversion strategy
    • Share feedback and insights from market engagement

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months’ experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or a customer-facing role (B2B preferred but not essential)
  • Strong communication skills, particularly over phone and email
  • Confidence in outbound prospecting
  • Highly motivated, resilient, and target-driven
  • Organised with strong follow-up and time management skills
  • Eagerness to learn and progress into a sales career
  • Exposure to events, media, or technology sectors
  • Experience with LinkedIn outreach or sales tools
