The VP of Sales â Europe is responsible for owning and scaling IQGeo's commercial performance across the Europe region, with a primary focus on large utility, fiber, and telecommunications operators. This role combines handsâon enterprise selling, regional GTM leadership, and team development to drive predictable, highâquality revenue growth.
The VP of Sales â Europe will define and execute the regional sales strategy, build and manage a highâperforming sales organization, and personally lead complex, highâvalue enterprise transactions. Success in this role requires deep experience selling missionâcritical enterprise software with long sales cycles, multiple stakeholders, and multiâyear value realization.
This is a highly visible leadership role with extensive crossâfunctional engagement across Marketing, Product Management, Customer Success, Operations, Finance, and RevOps, and regular interaction with the executive team.
Key Objectives- Deliver Europe revenue targets with a strong emphasis on pipeline quality, deal discipline, and forecast accuracy.
- Expand IQGeo's footprint within Tierâ1 telcos, fiber operators, and utilities.
- Build a scalable, repeatable Europe sales motion aligned to IQGeo's longâterm growth strategy.
- Build, lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of Sales Managers, Enterprise Account Executives and Sales Engineers.
- Own and manage a regional sales target across multiple geographies and market segments.
- Act as a sales leader and mentor, setting standards for enterprise selling excellence.
- Establish and continuously improve sales process, pipeline management, and deal governance.
- Drive pipeline velocity, conversion rates, and deal quality in line with company targets.
- Own and execute the Europe goâtoâmarket strategy, aligned with global sales and corporate objectives.
- Lead by example through direct involvement in strategic, highâvalue enterprise deals.
- Develop and execute accountâbased strategies for priority telco and utility customers.
- Build and maintain a healthy, wellâqualified pipeline using bestâpractice enterprise sales methodologies.
- Partner closely with Marketing and Global Partnerships to drive demand generation, partnerâled opportunities, and regional visibility.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure successful handover, adoption, expansion, and longâterm account growth.
- Present IQGeo's business value, including ROIâdriven transformation cases, to senior and Câlevel customer stakeholders.
- Lead complex commercial negotiations with a longâterm, winâwin mindset.
- Own forecasting discipline and continuously improve forecast accuracy and transparency.
- Contribute to RFP strategy and executiveâlevel responses.
- Represent IQGeo at key industry events, conferences, and customer forums.
- Provide structured feedback to Product Management based on market and customer insights.
- 10+ years of experience selling enterprise software / SaaS / PaaS into large organizations.
- Proven success closing complex, multiâstakeholder, multiâyear enterprise deals.
- Demonstrated experience leading and scaling enterprise sales teams.
- Strong background in telecommunications, fiber, utilities, or critical infrastructure software.
- Deep understanding of valueâbased and consultative selling.
- Experience operating in multiâcultural, multiâcountry environments.
- Ability to manage multiple complex opportunities simultaneously.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence Câlevel stakeholders.
- Highly analytical, structured, and comfortable operating in a fastâgrowth environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and inâperson communication skills.
- Degree in Business, Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
This role is preferably based in UK, France or Belgium. Exceptional candidates based in other European countries will also be considered.
