About the role:
- Provide hands-on Equipment Engineering support by maintaining the MOCVD and associated systems in terms of corrective and preventative maintenance.
- Return machine to “safe and capable” status.
- Maintenance of various electrical, mechanical and pressure systems.
- Carry out corrective maintenance and preventative maintenance as per documented procedures.
- Day to day maintenance of MOVCD manufacturing systems.
- Maximise the uptime of all equipment necessary for production.
- Continual improvement of reliability and performance of systems and equipment.
- Service and refurbish various machine components to the required standards.
- Follow set work instructions when carrying out machine source material changes.
- Pursue personal objectives decided at appraisal and maintain a list of “to do jobs” that may be undertaken during any period of slack during shift.
- Ensure all work carried out is documented on CMMS.
- Adhere to all internal safety, HR, environmental and quality guidelines and procedures.
About you:
- HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline is desirable.
- Experience of semiconductor equipment servicing in III/V or silicon fabrication is desirable.
- Proven experience of working within mechanical, electrical and pressure system environments.
- Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic aptitude and experience.
- Able to prioritise effectively, make decisions and take decisive actions quickly under pressure.
- Excellent attitude to H&S.
- Excellent attention to detail.
