Your Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing and assembly of components, primarily from stainless steel
- Layout, cutting, fitting, and tacking various assemblies using the TIG process
- Inspection of manufactured parts according to quality inspection reports
- Complete welding of assemblies
- Working within very tight tolerances of +/- 0.2mm
Your Profile:
- Experience in welding and manufacturing with tight tolerances (+/- 0.2mm)
- Knowledge of working with various materials such as Mu-metal, aluminium, stainless steel, and copper
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Experience with specific and precise measuring tools
- Positive attitude and professional teamwork
- ONC/HNC (Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or equivalent experience)
- Good mathematical skills
- Experience in TIG welding, ideally in the construction of vacuum chambers or similar components
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is an advantage
