This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of major Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects by ensuring equipment, materials and subcontract services are sourced efficiently, competitively and on schedule. The Role As a Buyer, you will manage the procurement lifecycle from initial requisition through to supplier selection, purchase order placement, expediting, delivery and project close-out. Working closely with Engineering, Project Management, Commercial, Construction and Quality teams, you will ensure procurement activities support project objectives while maintaining compliance, quality, cost control and delivery performance. This is a highly collaborative role offering exposure to major infrastructure and engineering projects, where your ability to build supplier relationships, negotiate effectively and manage competing priorities will be key to success. As our Buyer you will: Manage procurement activities across EPC projects, ensuring alignment with project programmes and business procedures. Convert engineering requisitions into procurement packages and tender documents. Prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs and supplier enquiries. Obtain and evaluate competitive quotations from approved suppliers. Support technical and commercial bid evaluations in collaboration with engineering teams.
