Location: The head office base in Hillington. There will be a requirement to travel to various site locations.
Salary: Β£47,500 to Β£50,973 with further benefits including a company van and fuel card.

At IQA Group, we donβt just support infrastructure; we help build it! We are looking for a skilled and experienced Jointer to join our team in Hillington, Glasgow. Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for underground cable laying, jointing, terminations and connections from 240v up to 400v.
About the Jointer role and what you will be doing:
- Jointing and Terminations connections (Prysmian, Tyco, Sicame)
- Cable laying
- Fault finding
- Completion of test certificates
- Submit relevant DMRs identifying cable locations/sizes and joints.
- Competent in completion of Risk Assessment and the ability to understand Method Statement and safe sequence of operations.
- Adhere to IQA, Client and DNO Safety Rules
- Follow IQA SHEQ Processes and Procedures, demonstrating leadership skills through communication and coordination of work and personal approach to health, safety and environmental obligations.
- Ensure safety from the system for IQA personnel, members of the public and other companies
- Follow the Live Working Practices of DNOs
- Highlight any issues which may affect compliance with the client/IQA SHEQ requirements or legislation.
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
- Current driving licence
- Site safety certificate
- COMP ACOMP (not essential)
- APSP - R5
- AWP-01, 02 & 03
- AWP-4 (Desirable)
