Location: Hillington, Glasgow

Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 per annum, DOE

Contract: Permanent, Full time

Hours: 40 Hours (8am - 5pm) Monday to Friday

Benefits: 25 days annual holiday, plus 8 stats, Pension and Sick pay

We are now recruiting for a Commercial Assistant to work closely with the Quantity Surveyor and Project Managers providing administrative and project support. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within IQA focusing on the commercial aspects of our projects.

As our Commercial Assistant you will be specifically responsible for:

  • Assisting with invoicing and tracking costs against project plans
  • Assisting with producing reports and documents as required
  • Assisting with the administration of contracts ensuring compliance
  • Maintaining and updating commercial databases and filing systems, including updating registers
  • Any other duties as identified and required to meet the needs of the business

In order to be successful in this role you must have:

  • Previous experience of undertaking a similar administrative role
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent level of numeracy and attention to detail
  • 1st class communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to act as an effective team member
  • Experience within the Utilities industry is desirable.
