We are now recruiting for a skilled and experienced Jointers Mate, working as part of a team you will assist the Jointer on various tasks! In addition to this, as our Cable Jointers Mate you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with Jointing and Terminations connections
- Assisting with Connections to substations
- Cable laying
- Assisting in fault finding
- Efficient use of materials
- Supporting the completion of risk assessment.
- Maintaining safe working practice and accurate records
- Assisting adhering to IQA, Client and DNO Safety Rules
- Ensuring safety from the system for IQA personnel, members of the public and other companies
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
- Current driving licence
- Site Safety Certificate
- Jointers Mate Qualification (ACCOMP) - desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skill and attention to detail
