As a BI Analyst you'll help turn data into clear insights that support smarter decisions across iQ Student Accommodation. Working within a supportive, collaborative BI team, you'll develop reports, dashboards and datasets while building your skills with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and modern dataāmodelling practices. This role is ideal for someone early in their BI careerācurious, eager to learn, and ready to get handsāon with real business problems. You'll work on everything from adāhoc analysis to supporting larger reporting initiatives, partnering with stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Experience using Power BI, including building reports and basic DAX.
- Understanding of core analytics concepts such as data modelling, star schema design and measures.
- Foundational SQL skills for querying and exploring data.
- Familiarity with Power Query for data transformation.
- Ability to turn business questions into reporting requirements with support from senior team members.
- Confident communicator who can work with stakeholders across a range of technical levels.
- Comfortable balancing multiple tasks or small projects.
- 1-2 years in a BI, data or analytical roleābut we're also open to graduates with the right passion and potential.
- Handsāon experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.
- Foundational SQL experience for exploring and validating data.
- Experience working with crossāfunctional teams is a plus.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, Fabric or similar) is helpful but not essential.
We operate a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home / site location.
