The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.

This is a fixed term contract starting 01/07/26 and finishing 30/09/26 and will be for 20 hours a week.

Our Maintenance Technicians at iQ make sure the students who stay with us always feel at home, this means carrying out minor repairs on our sites and interacting with our students to make a difference to their day to day lives. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll make sure our students always feel at home. No two days are the same — you might be:

  • Carrying out minor repairs across our sites
  • Tackling reactive maintenance such as plumbing, joinery or painting and decorating
  • Completing compliance checks and keeping up to date with policies and procedures
  • Interacting with students and helping make their day a little better

And through it all, you'll be part of the iQ family - a team that always has your back. You'll have some experience either in maintenance or as a general builder/labourer. Your shift pattern will be confirmed at least six weeks in advance and may vary across a six‐week cycle. You'll work within our operating hours of 8am–8pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work agreed in advance for busy periods or open days.
