This role focuses on increasing student enrolments and promoting two of our prestigious schools in the international markets. Position Summary The Assistant Director of International Student Recruitment is a key leadership role responsible for driving the institution’s international enrollment goals. This position plays a strategic and operational role in developing, managing, and executing a comprehensive international recruitment plan that aligns with the institutions’ global engagement strategy. The Assistant Director will work closely with internal stakeholders, global partners, and prospective students to grow the international student body and enhance the institution’s international profile Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop and implement a data-informed international recruitment strategy targeting key global markets. Identify emerging recruitment opportunities and recommend market entry or expansion strategies. Lead market analysis and competitor benchmarking to inform recruitment planning and resource allocation. Team and Project Management Support and mentor international recruitment staff and student ambassadors. Collaborate with marketing, admissions, and academic departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding. Manage projects related to international enrollment initiatives, including digital campaigns and events. Recruitment and Outreach Represent the institutions at international recruitment fairs, school visits, and virtual events. Cultivate and manage relationships with international education agents, partners schools. Coordinate outreach strategies including webinars, digital marketing, CRM campaigns, and virtual events. Admissions Support and Pipeline Development To ensure timely and efficient processing of international applications. Analyze enrollment data and pipeline metrics to evaluate and improve yield and conversion strategies. Track ROI of recruitment activities and adjust plans accordingly. Partnership and Relationship Management Develop and maintain relationships with overseas institutions, government scholarship bodies, and consulates. Negotiate and manage agency agreements, MOUs, and institutional partnerships. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree. Minimum 4–5 years of progressively responsible experience in international student recruitment. Demonstrated success in developing and executing international recruitment strategies. Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Hubspot), international application processes, and data analysis tools. Ability to travel internationally (20–30%) and work flexible hours across time zones. Excellent communication, cross-cultural, and interpersonal skills. Preferred: Master’s degree in higher education, international relations, or similar field. Proficiency in one or more foreign languages. Prior experience living, working, or studying abroad. Knowledge of international credentials and visa processes. Work Environment This role involves domestic and international travel, occasional evening or weekend work, and the ability to manage responsibilities independently or in a team setting.
