About the Role
This role is critical to the smooth delivery of artist contracting across multiple UK and European festivals. Acting as the primary point of contact for agents and internal teams, you will manage the full contracting lifecycle, ensure accuracy and compliance, and maintain strong professional relationships. The position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex negotiations while upholding the company's reputation for reliability and professionalism. This is a Full Time, Fixed Term role.
Key Responsibilities
- Artist Contracting Across UK & European Festivals
- Manage contracting for multiple UK and European festivals across diverse music genres.
- Handle artist contracts for most festival stages, including up to headliner level.
- Oversee the full contracting lifecycle:
- Initial offer confirmation
- Negotiate and redline deal memos and contracts
- Liaise directly with artist agents and managers
- Secure fully executed agreements
- Ensure accuracy and professionalism throughout negotiations and maintain strong industry relationships.
- Draft new contract markups for agencies without pre‐agreed terms.
- Organize and file all riders and offer sheets accurately.
- Manage invoice processing, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Key Skills & Experience
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of live music, festivals, and artist contracting processes.
- Contract Management: Proven experience in drafting, negotiating, and executing artist contracts.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in managing complex contractual and financial information.
- Communication Skills: Ability to maintain professional relationships and navigate challenging conversations.
- Organizational Skills: Highly efficient in managing multiple festivals and deadlines simultaneously.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Airtable (or similar platforms), Microsoft Office Suite, and digital filing systems.
- Problem‐Solving: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies quickly and effectively.
- Leadership & Team Support: Experience in team leadership and providing day‐to‐day guidance, support, and engagement to Assistant team member(s), ensuring smooth workflow and professional development.
- Professionalism: Reliable, approachable, and able to uphold the company's reputation in all interactions.
