This is an all-encompassing sales role, allowing for a passionate self-starter to manage the sales process from end to end, dealing with architects, builders, and homeowners, advising them on glazing systems and designs to help offer a high-end bespoke solution to their glazing needs.
Location: IQ Glass Southwest Office – Taunton
Salary: Competitive, with performance-based bonuses; final package dependent on experience
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time (40 hours per week), 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday with 1hr lunch
Probation: subject to a 6 months’ probation
As a Junior Sales Executive at IQ Glass, you will:
- Draft and issue accurate, competitive quotations for bespoke glazing projects, ensuring clear pricing, and detailed technical specifications.
- Build customer relationships, both in person and over the phone with architects, contractors, and end clients across the Southwest of the UK.
- Hit and exceed sales targets, proactively identifying opportunities to grow revenue and market share in a fast-moving bespoke construction environment.
- Support relationship management by tracking enquiries, following up leads and ensuring timely communication.
- Collaborate internally with technical, estimating and operations teams to ensure commercial and delivery alignment.
- Represent IQ Glass at client meetings and site visits, supporting consultative selling and specification advice.
You’ll be a key contributor to commercial growth in one of the most dynamic regions we serve, working across both remote and face-to-face customer engagement.
About you:
- Has 1–2 years’ sales experience, not necessarily in construction or glazing, but this would be advantageous.
- Is confident with customer engagement, whether over the phone, via email or in face-to-face meetings.
- Is proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to use Excel is particularly important for pricing analysis, tracking leads and reporting.
- Experience with Salesforce (or similar CRM) is a plus.
- Understands or is keen to learn construction terminology and processes related to glazing, façades and architectural builds.
- Is proactive, organised and target-driven, with a natural curiosity and commercial mindset.
- Full Driving License.
