We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our growing team. This is a pivotal role, working across the marketing and sales team to strengthen our relationships with existing clients as well as develop new relationships with a focus on identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for key client communication, relationship management and new client development.
As a Business Development Executive, you will:
- Maintain regular and professional communication with existing clients, ensuring we are aware of all their project requirements.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the architectural and construction sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, developers, and private clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing and technical teams to create project proposals for potential projects, using tailored solutions that meet client needs.
- Target driven individual with experience in business development, ideally within the construction, glazing, or architectural sectors.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in driving the growth of IQ Glass by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and expanding our presence in the architectural and construction sectors. You will work closely with architects, developers, contractors, and private clients to promote our premium glazing solutions and secure high-value projects.
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with key clients across the construction sector with the aim of generating new and nurturing existing business opportunities, with a direct focus on revenue growth.
As a Business Development Executive, you will need to:
- Target key B2B clients to arrange meetings and/or CPD seminars in person and online.
- Prepare and deliver compelling CPDs, sales presentations and proposals.
- Organise and undertake meetings and visits to our glazing design studio in Amersham.
- Research and develop new relationships with architects, contractors, developers or other specifiers to increase revenue and growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams (design, technical, and project management) to ensure client requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions using CRM tools.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform business strategy.
- Communicate with key clients and customers via telephone, Teams, and email, recording all correspondence on the CRM and feeding information to the relevant teams.
- Work with the marketing team to create compelling sales presentations and proposals for client meetings.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure we are providing an exceptional front-end service.
- Strategically plan proactive communications in a way that encourages engagement on existing opportunities and repeat business.
