Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Manager, Client Compliance to play a key leadership role in delivering exceptional compliance oversight and risk management services to our clients. This position is responsible for supporting regulatory compliance, governance and financial crime prevention across client structures, while fostering a strong risk culture and ensuring the highest standards of client service.

What you'll do

  • The successful candidate will act as a trusted adviser to clients, boards, regulators and internal stakeholders, helping to navigate complex regulatory requirements while supporting business growth and operational excellence.
  • You will act as Compliance Officer (CO), Money Laundering Compliance Officer (MLCO) and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for client entities, providing expert compliance oversight and serving as a key point of contact for clients and regulators.
  • You will develop and deliver risk-based compliance monitoring programmes, ensuring client structures comply with applicable regulatory, legal and internal policy requirements.
  • You will provide practical regulatory guidance, identify emerging risks, support remediation programmes and ensure effective governance and risk management practices are maintained.
  • You will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, boards, regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders to support high-quality service delivery and regulatory compliance.
  • You will lead and develop team members, champion a proactive compliance culture and contribute to operational excellence through continuous process improvement and best practice initiatives.

Qualifications

  • You have extensive experience within offshore financial services, with a strong background in compliance, risk management and financial crime prevention.
  • You possess strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, corporate governance, AML/CFT requirements and risk mitigation practices within regulated financial services environments.
  • You have experience acting as, or supporting, CO, MLCO and/or MLRO functions and working closely with regulatory authorities on compliance-related matters.
  • You demonstrate strong leadership, stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience developing teams and building collaborative working relationships.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with the ability to make sound, risk-based decisions and deliver pragmatic compliance solutions.
