Are you a detail-driven professional with a passion for accuracy and efficiency in financial operations? We\’re looking for a Global Payments Team Authorizer to join our fast-paced, high-performing team in Belfast.
As a key member of the Global Payments Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate authorization of payments transactions across global markets. You\’ll collaborate with various internal teams, support junior members, and help drive process improvements in a deadline-oriented environment.
What you\’ll be doing
- Reviewing, authorizing, and reconciling payment transactions within strict deadlines.
- Managing payment workflows and collaborating closely with the workflow manager.
- Validating payments packs for accuracy before submission to authorizing parties.
- Responding to queries and performing detailed investigations as needed.
- Supporting data input and updated in systems like Investran.
- Providing guidance and training to junior team members.
- Contributing to risk identification, error reporting, and process improvements.
- Assisting in departmental projects and system enhancements.
Qualifications

Required:
- Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven payments or financial operations environment.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and support junior colleagues.
- Excellent organizational and communicational skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office, especially excel and word.
