Job Description

Are you a detail-driven professional with a passion for accuracy and efficiency in financial operations? We\’re looking for a Global Payments Team Authorizer to join our fast-paced, high-performing team in Belfast.

As a key member of the Global Payments Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate authorization of payments transactions across global markets. You\’ll collaborate with various internal teams, support junior members, and help drive process improvements in a deadline-oriented environment.

What you\’ll be doing

  • Reviewing, authorizing, and reconciling payment transactions within strict deadlines.
  • Managing payment workflows and collaborating closely with the workflow manager.
  • Validating payments packs for accuracy before submission to authorizing parties.
  • Responding to queries and performing detailed investigations as needed.
  • Supporting data input and updated in systems like Investran.
  • Providing guidance and training to junior team members.
  • Contributing to risk identification, error reporting, and process improvements.
  • Assisting in departmental projects and system enhancements.

Qualifications

What you bring to the team

Required:

  • Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven payments or financial operations environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and support junior colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational and communicational skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office, especially excel and word.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A can-do attitude, with the ability to stay cool under pressure.
  • Team player mindset with a commitmentto quality.

Desirable:

  • Advanced excel skills (macros, pivot tables, data analysis).
  • Experience in accounts payable or bank payments.
