Responsibilities
- Assist the MLRO to monitor satisfactory completion of Pre‑Screening / trigger event screening of employees.
- Serve as an attendee of committees as delegated by the MLRO.
- Provide support in managing the Russian, Ukraine, Belarus (RUBX) relationships and committee matters.
- Review closure requests, ensuring there is no appropriate reason to prevent closure.
- Contribute towards the drafting / updating of SOPs and procedures.
- Assist the MLRO with the facilitation and delivery of Financial Crime related training.
Qualifications
- Hold or be studying towards an ICA qualification.
- Previous SAR / DMLRO experience.
- Strong understanding of the Risk & Compliance environment.
- Good understanding of the Jersey regulatory framework and AML / CFT / CFP statutory legislation.
- Knowledge of client structures such as corporates, trusts, foundations, and associated risk factors such as PEPs, jurisdictions, sanctions.
- Good understanding of the offshore finance industry.
