Responsibilities

  • Assist the MLRO to monitor satisfactory completion of Pre‑Screening / trigger event screening of employees.
  • Serve as an attendee of committees as delegated by the MLRO.
  • Provide support in managing the Russian, Ukraine, Belarus (RUBX) relationships and committee matters.
  • Review closure requests, ensuring there is no appropriate reason to prevent closure.
  • Contribute towards the drafting / updating of SOPs and procedures.
  • Assist the MLRO with the facilitation and delivery of Financial Crime related training.

Qualifications

  • Hold or be studying towards an ICA qualification.
  • Previous SAR / DMLRO experience.
  • Strong understanding of the Risk & Compliance environment.
  • Good understanding of the Jersey regulatory framework and AML / CFT / CFP statutory legislation.
  • Knowledge of client structures such as corporates, trusts, foundations, and associated risk factors such as PEPs, jurisdictions, sanctions.
  • Good understanding of the offshore finance industry.
